Job Title: Casting Engineer – Investment Casting & Metallurgical Processes Location: Lindon, UT (Relocation Support Available)
Overview: A nationally respected manufacturing company with a strong engineering backbone is seeking a Casting Engineer to own quality systems, elevate process standards, and drive production success in our high-performance casting facility. If you thrive at the intersection of metallurgy, process control, and continuous improvement—this is your lane.
What You’ll Do:
Lead quality initiatives to reduce defects and optimize consistency across casting operations
Oversee key certifications and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry benchmarks
Design quality documentation: inspection plans, test procedures, process workflows
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and sales to troubleshoot issues and deliver quality outcomes
Spearhead successful introduction of new parts, from prototype through full-scale production
Conduct audits, analyze production data, and implement corrective actions
Support quoting efforts with technical input and documentation
Who You Are:
Background in investment casting or related casting technologies (sand, die, etc.)
Strong understanding of metallurgical principles and process flow analysis
Proficient with technical drawings and quality system documentation
Experience in a manufacturing environment—foundry operations and SolidWorks knowledge is a big plus
You take ownership, drive standards, and are passionate about production excellence
