Grain Merchandiser in Wilmington

Job Description

Gpac is partnered with a highly reputable ag company to fill the role of a Lead Grain Merchandiser. This individual will be responsible for growing long-term relationships with growers, with the best interests of both the grower and company in mind.  

Responsibilities:

• Understand local/regional grain markets, including market movement, price action, factors influencing price.
• Make quotes and prepare contracts for sales and purchases. 
• Maintain relationships with customers and business partners. 
• Set up movement of grain within the company. 
• Have great communication skills!

Requirements:

• 10+ years Merchandising experience
• Great customer service skills. 
• Ability to multi-task. 
• Problem solver and able to work with minimal supervision.
