Job Title: Casting Engineer – Investment Casting & Metallurgical Processes
Location: Lindon, UT (Relocation Support Available)
Overview:
A nationally respected manufacturing company with a strong engineering backbone seeks a Casting Engineer to own quality systems, elevate process standards, and drive production success in a high-performance investment casting facility. If you thrive at the intersection of metallurgy, process control, and hands-on engineering—this is your lane.
What You’ll Do:
Lead quality and process initiatives to reduce defects and optimize consistency
Oversee certifications and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry standards
Design quality documentation: inspection plans, test procedures, workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams
Drive new part introductions from prototype to production
Conduct audits, analyze data, and implement corrective actions
Support quoting with technical input and documentation
Who You Are:
Direct professional experience in investment casting is required; other casting methods (sand, die, etc.) do not qualify
Strong grasp of metallurgical principles, foundry processes, and process flow
Proficient with technical drawings and quality system documentation
Experienced in manufacturing, ideally aerospace or defense quality systems
SolidWorks or similar CAD experience is a strong plus
Not an entry-level role; requires prior industry experience
Ownership-driven, committed to engineering excellence and high standards
