Branch Manager – Marine Lumber & Decking Products - GREAT CAREER GROWTH OPPORTUNITY WITH THIS COMPANY!
Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency in sales, inventory, and customer service.
Lead and develop a small team, providing guidance, support, and accountability to meet performance goals.
Drive sales of marine-grade lumber, Trex decking, and related products through existing accounts and new business development.
Serve as the face of the branch to customers, contractors, and builders—building strong, lasting relationships.
Track inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate stock levels.
Monitor financial performance of the branch, including budgets, margins, and sales targets.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Collaborate with upper management on pricing strategy, product mix, and regional market trends.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or branch management, preferably in building materials, lumber, decking, or marine-related products.
Leadership experience managing teams in a branch, retail, or distribution setting.
Solid understanding of customer service, inventory flow, and operational management.
Knowledge of marine lumber products and composite decking materials (Trex experience a strong plus).
Comfortable working hands-on in a warehouse or yard environment when needed.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in basic computer systems (inventory, order entry, POS, or CRM tools).
