Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction
📍 Chicago, IL | 💵 $125,000 – $150,000 (Based on Experience)

We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to take the lead on large-scale, ground-up commercial construction projects in the Chicago area. This is an opportunity to join a financially sound, family-owned firm with a strong reputation across markets including senior living, higher education, industrial, and commercial office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of construction from preconstruction to project closeout

  • Lead internal teams and coordinate with subcontractors and consultants

  • Maintain control of budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, safety standards, and quality expectations

  • Communicate effectively with ownership, clients, and field teams


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management

  • Proven track record with ground-up construction (projects $10M–$50M+)

  • Strong knowledge of contracts, construction methods, and sequencing

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
