Manufacturing Sales Representative
We’re seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will excel at developing new business, managing long-term customer relationships, and driving growth across a defined territory.
About our client:
Founded in the late 1920s, this industrial automation specialist partners with Midwest manufacturers to supply fluid‑power components, dry‑bulk material handling solutions, and machine‑safety and ergonomic systems tailored to factory environments
Responsibilities:
Identify and close new business with OEMs, distributors, and industrial end-users
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
Present technical products and solutions to engineering and purchasing teams
Maintain CRM records and provide accurate sales forecasts
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Attend trade shows and regional travel to customer sites (40–60%)
Requirements:
3+ years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong communication, negotiation, and technical presentation skills
Ability to understand and sell complex products and systems - Manufacturing Experience Preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering or Business)
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and organizational discipline
