We are searching for a Director of Operations to join their leadership team in Los Angeles, CA for a well-established produce company with over 90 years of success. Ideal Candidate:
5+ years of experience in the fresh produce industry
Bilingual in Spanish (written and spoken)
Food Safety audit experience and knowledge with Primus, SQF or other 3rd party auditing schemas
Strong background in supply chain management, procurement, and vendor negotiations
Knowledge of USDA produce requirements, transportation/logistics, and quality control procedures
Proficiency in KPI tracking and continuous improvement (Six Sigma mindset a plus)
Experience with the Produce Pro software is highly preferred
Flexibility with scheduling as must oversee shifts that operate during different times
Labor Management experience
Pick Path re-design experience for optimized efficiency
Compensation & Perks:
Base Salary: $120,000 – $130,000
