Heavy Civil Superintendent

We’re seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale heavy civil construction projects across the Central Plains region (NE, KS, IA, ND, SD). This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage crews, assign daily tasks, and operate earth-moving equipment when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate field operations on multi-million dollar heavy civil projects

  • Assign daily tasks, oversee crews, and ensure productivity and safety on site

  • Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, etc.) as needed to support project progress

  • Maintain project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and communicate with project managers

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a foreman or superintendent on heavy civil or highway projects

  • Strong background in excavation and heavy equipment operation

  • Willingness to travel Monday–Friday (home on weekends)

  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
