***SIGN ON BONUS*** Hiring a Fitter/Welder with experience working on large parts in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Fit and weld using 3/32 flux core or .045/.052 solid wire
Read and follow blueprints with full understanding of welding symbols
Maneuver bulky components using overhead cranes
Perform layout, tack, and final welds on thick materials
Work safely in elevated areas and tight spaces
Requirements:
Background in heavy plate fabrication
Proficient in FCAW and GMAW processes
Able to interpret weld symbols accurately
Comfortable operating cranes and handling oversized parts
Not restricted by heights or confined work areas
