Mechanical CAD Designer

We’re seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer to support our engineering team by creating detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings for our custom drilling machines. This role offers hands-on collaboration, professional growth opportunities, and a strong benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed part and assembly drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Revise existing mechanical drawings to reflect design updates
Assist with bill of materials (BOM) creation and updates
Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet performance and manufacturability requirements
Support documentation for machine manuals and assembly instructions
Occasionally assist with electrical drafting tasks
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, CAD Drafting, or equivalent experience
2+ years of mechanical drafting/design experience, including 3D modeling
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or similar CAD software)
Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
