A Houston-based boutique energy firm is hiring a fully remote Title Opinion Attorney with 4+ years of experience in the Bakken Region. While the firm doesn’t maintain a physical office in Colorado, several team members are already based in Colorado and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely full-time. This is an ideal opportunity for a Colorado-based attorney seeking serious autonomy, customizable billing goals, and high-level title work.

Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review acquisition, drilling, and division order title opinions, with the current caseload in the Bakken and Permian Regions
Analyze land records, mineral rights, and ownership chains
Option to supervise junior attorneys (paid hourly for management time)
Compensation & Perks:
Salary set by experience and billable goal
15% origination credit (gross)
