A highly respected national law firm is expanding its Workers' Compensation team in Atlanta and is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to take on a hands-on role in managing a diverse caseload. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated litigator to build expertise in a well-supported environment with growth potential.
✨ What You’ll Do
📂 Take ownership of your own workers' compensation defense caseload 🔍 Conduct and respond to discovery, including depositions and witness interviews 📝 Draft and argue motions, manage written discovery, and prepare cases for hearing 🏛️ Gain exposure to trials and direct litigation strategy 🤝 Work closely with clients and legal teams across multiple offices
🎯 What We’re Looking For
✔️ Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia ✔️ 2+ years of workers’ compensation or defense litigation experience ✔️ Skilled in discovery, motion practice, and depositions ✔️ Trial experience a plus, but not required ✔️ Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic ✔️ Excellent legal writing, analytical, and research abilities ✔️ Detail-focused and self-motivated
