A well-established ag retail and service operation is seeking a Field Sales Agronomist & Applicator to support local growers through a combination of crop input sales and hands-on application services. This is a full-time, year-round role ideal for someone who enjoys both building grower relationships and operating equipment in the field.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with area growers
Recommend tailored fertilizer, chemical, and seed programs
Provide seasonal planning and basic agronomic guidance
Prepare quotes and coordinate customer orders
Operate sprayers, spreaders, and application equipment
Mix and apply inputs according to label and agronomic standards
Maintain accurate records and follow all safety protocols
Support product delivery, inventory, and seasonal logistics as needed
Agronomy, ag retail, or crop input sales experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate agricultural equipment
CDL and Pesticide Applicator License preferred (or willing to obtain)
Farm background or knowledge of local cropping systems is a plus
Must be willing to work extended hours during peak seasons
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
