Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled HVAC Field Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical systems, hands-on experience with HVAC equipment, and the ability to oversee, troubleshoot, and optimize field installations and systems. This role bridges engineering design with field operations to ensure high-quality project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems on-site.

  • Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.

  • Conduct site inspections to verify system integrity, layout, and performance compliance with design drawings and industry standards.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and control issues in the field and provide timely resolutions.

  • Ensure HVAC systems comply with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed field reports, test documentation, and equipment records.

  • Provide input and feedback to design teams to improve future projects based on field experience.

  • Train and guide junior technicians and field personnel when necessary.

  • Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on field experience in HVAC systems installation, troubleshooting, or commissioning.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, load calculations, ductwork, piping, and controls.

  • Familiarity with industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.) and local building codes.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, HVAC testing equipment, and control systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

  • Valid driver's license (preferred).

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or HVAC simulation software.

  • Certifications such as LEED, EPA 608, or OSHA training.

  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and IoT-enabled HVAC systems.
