About the Role:
A well-established plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal to support a single attorney in complex personal injury and toxic tort matters. This full-time, in-office position is ideal for a proactive professional who can hit the ground running and is passionate about helping clients navigate serious legal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct paralegal support to one litigation attorney
Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and subpoenas
Manage case files, legal correspondence, and client records
Schedule and coordinate depositions, meetings, and court appearances
Conduct legal research and prepare summaries
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating witnesses
Communicate professionally with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Track case timelines and ensure compliance with deadlines
Qualifications:
3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience (personal injury or toxic tort preferred)
Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court rules
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills
Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office
Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
