We are seeking a driven, results-oriented sales professional to join our growing team and help lead our business development efforts.

Position Summary: The New Business Development professional will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing national accounts in the temperature-controlled LTL and Truckload market. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and is passionate about building long-term client relationships and understanding of the reefer based ltl network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for temperature-sensitive LTL freight services nationwide

  • Identify and secure new business through prospecting, cold calls, warm leads, and referrals

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including quoting, negotiating, and onboarding customers

  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of services

  • Stay informed on cold chain industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities

  • Travel 10–15% for face-to-face client meetings and industry networking events

Qualifications:

  • 5 years Minimum freight industry experience 3 of which years of sales experience in 3PL or asset-based logistics (temperature-controlled/cold chain experience needed)

  • Proven success building managing, maintaining and growing a portfolio of 3M+ in annual revenue

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency preferred)

  • Book of Business to plug and play success along with having no non compete, is a very parge plus

  • High School diploma required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
