Job Title: Estimator – Structural Steel Fabrication
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Estimator with 3+ years of experience in estimating commercial structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment. Experience with Tekla software is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Review architectural and structural drawings to prepare accurate and competitive estimates.
Perform material take-offs and pricing of structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
Track changes and update estimates as necessary throughout the bid process.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience estimating commercial structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Experience with Tekla Structures or Tekla EPM is a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
