Reliability Maintenance Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and performance of plant equipment and processes. This role is responsible for maximizing uptime by analyzing potential failure points, developing proactive maintenance strategies, and implementing solutions to reduce unplanned downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventive measures.
Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance schedules using data analysis and condition monitoring techniques.
Track and report on key performance indicators related to equipment reliability and availability.
Partner with engineering teams to ensure new equipment installations are designed with reliability and maintainability in mind.
Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel on reliability principles and best practices.
Support the full asset lifecycle, from design and installation to decommissioning, ensuring reliability is a key focus.
Supervise plant maintenance staff and contract mechanics, including some overtime and weekend work as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
3–5 years of experience in heavy industrial mechanical maintenance and system reliability.
Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); SAP and UKG experience preferred.
Strong computer skills, along with excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
Familiarity with safety rules, regulations, and requirements.
This position requires a proactive problem solver who can ensure equipment and processes operate reliably, efficiently, and safely, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
