Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients before USCIS and EOIR in a wide range of matters, including removal defense, asylum, and family-based petitions.
Develop case strategies in collaboration with paralegals and support staff.
Provide high-quality, client-focused counsel while maintaining compliance with all ethical obligations.
Prepare legal documents, filings, and maintain thorough records.
Attend hearings, interviews, and conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active Bar membership, in good standing, in any U.S. jurisdiction.
1–2+ years of experience in immigration law (removal defense, asylum, or family petitions strongly preferred).
Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Office 365; experience with Zoom or Webex is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated passion for immigrant rights and ability to work with individuals from diverse cultures and language backgrounds.
Fluency in an additional language (Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Lingala) strongly preferred.
