Position Overview We are seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist with an aerospace background. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with specialty metals, setting up machines, and thriving in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and (ideally) program CNC lathes
Work with Titanium, Inconel, and other aerospace-grade metals
Produce precision parts in a fast-paced environment with overtime opportunities
Collaborate with programmers and machinists to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Machines Used Okuma machines
Qualifications
Aerospace machining background required
CNC lathe set-up experience (programming a plus)
Skilled with tight tolerances and specialty metals
Must thrive in a fast-paced shop environment
Medical or high-volume production backgrounds not a fit
Compensation & Benefits
$45,000 – $75,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
