Company Overview:
A well-respected general contractor in the San Antonio market is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on high-impact commercial construction projects. This contractor is known for building lasting client relationships, delivering top-quality projects, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Coordinate daily field operations with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams
Monitor compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
Maintain project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement proactive solutions
Conduct regular site inspections, manage punch lists, and ensure successful project closeout
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, and project managers
Promote a positive, collaborative jobsite culture focused on safety, accountability, and communication
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects
Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and field operations
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple trades
Proficiency with construction management software and documentation
OSHA certification or other relevant safety training preferred
