Superintendent Construction

Location: San Antonio, TX

A well-respected general contractor in the San Antonio market is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on high-impact commercial construction projects. This contractor is known for building lasting client relationships, delivering top-quality projects, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and team collaboration.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

  • Coordinate daily field operations with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams

  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards

  • Maintain project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement proactive solutions

  • Conduct regular site inspections, manage punch lists, and ensure successful project closeout

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, and project managers

  • Promote a positive, collaborative jobsite culture focused on safety, accountability, and communication

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and field operations

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple trades

  • Proficiency with construction management software and documentation

  • OSHA certification or other relevant safety training preferred
