CNC Programmer
Location: Indianapolis IN
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a state-of-the-art, fully air-conditioned machine shop. This role focuses on programming and supporting precision machining projects within the Defense and Aerospace industries. Your expertise will be in programming and collaborating directly with machinists to execute complex, high-precision work.
Key Responsibilities:
Program CNC machines using Mastercam or NX software.
Work closely with machinists to set up and run 1–2 pieces per project.
Handle specialty materials and manage complex setups with tolerances down to .0005”.
Operate in a job shop/development manufacturing environment, primarily within Defense and Aerospace.
Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to exact specifications.
Qualifications:
Experience as a CNC Programmer in a job shop or development manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in Mastercam or NX programming.
Strong understanding of machining specialty materials and high-precision tolerances.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with machinists.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects.
