COMMERCIAL LITIGATION | BUSINESS ATTORNEY

Houston

Seeking a 3-5 years' ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY with courtroom experience for an AV-rated, mid-sized Defense firm in Houston with Commercial and Business Litigation practice areas. The ideal candidate coming with experience in contract disputes, arbitration, handling commercial cases in state and federal courts throughout Texas. This role will include a special emphasis on commercial litigation, discovery and motion practice through mediation and trials; requires ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, strong writing skills and attention-to-detail. A motivated and resourceful individual will thrive here with career growth opportunities in complex commercial matters and high-dollar cases. This is a team-oriented, collaborative, collegial work environment and is a daily in-office position (with flexibility offered). 

Job Duties and Requirements:

  • Drafting pleadings, preparing discovery, briefing, and legal research, attending depositions
  • Ability in conducting mediations, administrative hearings, making court appearances
  • Experience in evidentiary hearings, leading temporary injuction and restraining order hearings, a plus
