About the Opportunity   

We are seeking four talented Associate Attorneys to join our California offices. This is an excellent opportunity for defense litigators interested in developing expertise in toxic tort, asbestos, and silica litigation. Prior toxic tort experience is not required. We welcome candidates with strong defense litigation backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow in this specialized practice area.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of defense litigation, including case analysis, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to deliver effective defense strategies
• Participate in training and mentorship programs designed to develop toxic tort expertise
• Work within a supportive team environment across multiple offices

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• 2 to 6 years of litigation experience from Bar admission, preferably in defense litigation
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast paced environment
• Eagerness to learn toxic tort practice and contribute to a collaborative team

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $150,000 to $185,000 annual base salary depending on experience
• Discretionary bonus opportunities based on performance and firm profitability
