Sales Estimator – Structural Steel (Remote)

We’re seeking a motivated Sales Estimator to join a well-established structural steel fabricator based in Virginia. This is a fully remote position with the opportunity to make a direct impact by building client relationships and preparing competitive bids for structural steel projects. What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and project partners.

  • Accurately prepare estimates and competitive bids for structural steel projects.

  • Review architectural and structural drawings to generate detailed proposals.

  • Collaborate with sales, estimating, and detailing teams to ensure alignment.

  • Monitor market pricing and trends to keep bids competitive.

  • Represent the company professionally while driving client satisfaction and repeat business.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in structural steel estimating, sales estimating, or a related technical field.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 DOE
