Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our team. What You’ll Do

  • Provide on-site and remote maintenance, repair, and installation support for industrial machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems to minimize downtime for customers.
  • Prepare and update service documentation, technical reports, and customer communications.
  • Partner with colleagues to share expertise, train on new product lines, and ensure best practices in the field.
  • Build strong, lasting customer relationships through professional communication and reliable service.
  • Handle customer challenges with a positive, solutions-focused approach.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of CNC machinery, grinders, or similar industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with controls such as Allen Bradley, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens (a plus).
  • Strong ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
  • Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% across the U.S. (driving or flying).
