Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Location: Confidential RTE Food Manufacturing Company – Kentucky Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience + benefits

About the Role

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on, people-focused Production Supervisor to lead its 2nd Shift team (3PM–11PM). This role is critical in ensuring production lines run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety standards. The right leader will thrive in a fast-paced environment, drive productivity, and motivate employees to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and motivate 2nd shift production employees to achieve daily goals

  • Oversee throughput, yield, safety, and quality on assigned lines

  • Ensure strict compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs, OSHA, and company policies

  • Schedule and manage staffing, attendance, and time-off approvals for direct reports

  • Partner with Maintenance, QA, Safety, HR, and Shipping to resolve issues quickly

  • Promote a safe and positive team culture while maintaining discipline and performance standards

  • Review and manage production reports to ensure efficiency and customer requirements are met

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of food manufacturing experience

  • 5+ years of leadership in a manufacturing environment

  • Hands-on experience with Tray Sealer, Thermoforming, or Flow Wrapping equipment strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, HACCP, SOPs, and SSOPs

  • Proven ability to solve problems quickly and motivate teams

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
