Food Safety Coordinator – Confidential Food Manufacturer (Perishable Condiments)

About the Role

A well-established confidential food manufacturer in the perishable condiment segment is seeking a Food Safety Coordinator. This role ensures our facility remains audit-ready and compliant by managing and improving food safety programs, documentation, and inspection readiness. You’ll partner closely with Production, Sanitation, and QA to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Bi-lingual applicants are highly encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Food Safety Program with Production leadership

  • Review and verify sanitation processes, documentation, and facility walk-throughs

  • Lead facility inspections, document findings, and drive corrective actions

  • Maintain and update HACCP plans, DCRs, and the Food Safety Manual

  • Train and retrain staff to ensure food safety expectations are met

  • Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards (USDA/FDA, GMPs, HACCP)


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3+ years’ food safety inspection experience in food manufacturing

  • Strong HACCP knowledge (certification preferred; ability to create HACCP plans required)

  • Excellent organizational skills, documentation accuracy, and follow-through

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, sanitation, vendors, and leadership

  • Bi-lingual preferred
