Experienced Civil Litigation Attorney – Asheville / Western North Carolina Full-time | Hybrid / Remote Flexibility

A well-established North Carolina law firm is seeking an experienced civil litigator to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys trial work and wants to be part of a busy practice with more work than the current team can handle.

About the Role

  • Handle a variety of civil litigation matters, including (but not limited to) construction, trucking/transportation, products liability, professional liability, premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, and commercial disputes.
  • Take cases from inception through trial and arbitration with the support of a seasoned team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a collegial environment while maintaining a healthy degree of autonomy.
  • Hybrid flexibility: Ideally able to work in the Asheville office 2–3 days a week, but open to hybrid/remote arrangements for attorneys based in Western North Carolina.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor with admission to practice in North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil litigation defense.
  • Strong trial and arbitration experience.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
