Job Description

Seeking an experienced Steel Estimator to support structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects. The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, solid estimating skills, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate estimates

  • Perform material take-offs for structural steel and miscellaneous metals

  • Develop cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages

  • Coordinate with project managers, detailers, and fabricators to ensure estimate accuracy

  • Maintain organized estimating records and support project handoffs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metals

  • Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Fabtrol or Tekla Powerfab is preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
