Job Description

Seeking an experienced Welder with strong technical skills and a proven ability to work on heavy structural components. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in various welding processes and comfortable working with thick materials in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hardwire welding using .052 and .045 wire, flux core welding with .052, 1/16, and 3/32 wire, and metal core welding with .045 and .052 wire

  • Weld components with thicknesses of 1" or greater, ensuring high-quality, structurally sound welds

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to complete projects accurately

  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including making necessary adjustments to achieve proper penetration and bead appearance

  • Inspect welds for defects and ensure all work meets quality and code standards

  • Perform grinding, fitting, and finishing work as required to prepare or complete welded assemblies

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and project deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with hardwire, flux core, and metal core welding processes

  • Ability to weld heavy plate materials (1" thickness and above)

  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, symbols, and specifications

  • Skilled at reading blueprints and using measuring tools accurately

  • Proficient in basic math, including fractions, decimals, and measurements

  • Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
