Job Title: Warranty Technician – Residential Home Builder

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Warranty Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for responding to warranty requests, diagnosing issues, performing hands-on repairs, and coordinating with subcontractors when necessary. The ideal candidate has experience in residential construction, is highly detail-oriented, and takes pride in ensuring homeowners receive outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to warranty service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Diagnose and complete general repairs in carpentry, drywall, paint, trim, hardware, minor plumbing, and other typical home warranty items.
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors when repairs are outside the technician’s scope.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service requests and work performed.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners, ensuring issues are resolved with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide feedback to construction and customer service teams to prevent recurring issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards and warranty guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in residential construction, warranty service, or related trades.
  • Strong hands-on skills in general home repairs (carpentry, drywall, paint, basic plumbing/electrical).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional trade or technical training preferred.
