A highly respected El Paso area Commercial General Contractor is seeking a driven Project Engineer to join their team. The Project Engineer will play an integral role in supporting project execution, working alongside experienced leaders, and developing the skills to become a future project manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and all project documentation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers to maintain schedules and resolve issues.
  • Monitor progress in the field to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
  • Gain hands-on experience across multiple phases of construction with a clear path toward advancement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent construction experience).
  • 1–3 years of commercial construction experience preferred (internships or co-op experience will be considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar project management software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ambition to grow into a project leadership role.
