A highly regarded law firm in Minneapolis is seeking a Lateral Employment Law Partner to join its growing practice. The ideal candidate will bring a proven book of portable business and a strong reputation for client service in employment law. Position Overview:

The firm is seeking an accomplished attorney with a robust background in employment counseling and litigation. The incoming partner will have the opportunity to build upon an established platform of corporate and litigation clients, while collaborating with a team that values integrity, professionalism, and long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise and represent employers in all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and compliance matters

  • Handle employment litigation in state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies

  • Provide strategic counseling on employment policies, agreements, and best practices

  • Support and expand existing firm clients while developing new business opportunities

  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the growth of the employment practice group

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • 7+ years of employment law experience, including counseling and litigation

  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining client relationships

  • Portable book of business; This shows the ability to bring on and retain new business and be client-facing

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and leadership skills
