Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense
A respected defense firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join its growing litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to handle diverse and challenging cases in a collaborative, professional environment that values skill development and long-term growth.
What They’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation (general liability, premises liability, auto, or related areas)
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience with depositions, discovery, motion practice, and mediation
Ability to manage an active caseload and meet deadlines efficiently
Member of the Bar in good standing
What You’ll Do
Handle cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
Draft motions, discovery responses, and reports to insurance carriers
Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations
Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and co-counsel regarding case strategy and progress
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective representation
