A respected and well-established law firm in Richmond, VA is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney with 2–7 years of experience to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle diverse and challenging litigation matters while working in a supportive and professional environment.

The firm values strong advocacy, collaboration, and client service. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who can manage cases independently while working closely with experienced litigators.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of civil litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trials
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
• Conduct depositions and court appearances
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies
• Maintain organized case files and meet all litigation deadlines

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in Virginia (required)
• 2–7 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $80,000 – $125,000 (commensurate with experience)
