Job Description

Director of Business Development Opportunity with a Commercial Construction General Contractor to lead and expand their client network, strengthen relationships, and play a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic growth.

Position Overview: This is a high-impact role for a construction sales leader who thrives on driving results and leading growth initiatives. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in business development within the construction or construction management industry and is ready to take on a position with significant influence and potential long-term partnership opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts and expand client relationships across target sectors

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships

  • Develop and execute growth strategies in collaboration with senior leadership

  • Represent the company in key client and industry relationships

  • Contribute to high-level planning and revenue expansion goals

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction business development or sales leadership

  • Proven success driving new work for a GC or Construction Manager

  • Strong market knowledge and established industry relationships

  • Strategic thinker with leadership capability and entrepreneurial drive

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
