🌉 Senior Structures Engineer – Great Plains Region

What You’ll Do

  • Lead bridge and structural design projects ranging from small drainage structures to large multi-span bridges

  • Serve as senior project engineer and client contact — leading meetings, interviews, and presentations

  • Support construction by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting field visits

  • Manage project budgets, scopes, and internal team forecasting

  • Guide structural design efforts for complex transportation projects

  • Maintain quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (Master’s preferred)

  • 10–15 years of bridge or structural design experience (bridges, retaining walls, foundations, culverts)

  • Advanced use of structural analysis and design software

  • Familiarity with AASHTO standards and procedures

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Nebraska, Iowa, or South Dakota

  • Experience in concrete and steel girder bridge design; rail structure experience a plus

Compensation

💰 $135,000 – $160,000 annually.  Final offer based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
