This opportunity is with a smaller, privately held engineering firm where you have the freedom to lead — not just follow a process.We’re seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) experienced in Land Development who wants more ownership over their work and direct influence on project outcomes.You’ll join a team with a strong backlog of private and public development projects, from 1-acre commercial sites to 3,000-acre master-planned communities — valued anywhere from $50,000 to several million dollars.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead multidisciplinary land development projects from concept to completion.
  • Oversee site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of engineers and designers.
  • Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and contractors to move projects forward efficiently.
  • Balance technical precision with project deadlines — and have the autonomy to make it happen.

Ideal Candidate

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 8+ years of experience in land development or site civil design
  • Strong technical background in grading, utilities, stormwater, and permitting
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple active projects
