A respected St. Louis-based law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join its team. The firm offers a collegial, work/life balance–focused culture with lower hour requirements than most firms, along with strong long-term stability and growth potential.
This opportunity is ideal for a mid- to senior-level attorney with a portable book of business who wants to practice in a collaborative, client-centered environment. The firm provides excellent administrative and paralegal support, but there is not enough existing estate planning work to sustain the role without a book of business. Experience in other areas of transactional work a plus.
Advise individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies
Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
Counsel clients on estate, gift, and charitable planning
Maintain and grow personal client relationships
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed in Missouri (or eligible via reciprocity)
Minimum 7 years of estate planning experience
Proven track record of client service and relationship development
Portable book of business required
15% origination on all clients brought to the firm
Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office / 1 day remote
