Experienced Insurance Coverage Litigator in Scottsdale

Job Description

Seeking Insurance coverage litigation attorney with minimum 3 years of experience, including opinion writing.

The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload of insurance coverage disputes, advising on and litigating complex claims, and providing expert legal counsel to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of Arizona insurance law and a proven track record in handling coverage disputes, including first-party, third-party, and bad faith claims. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance policies and interpret coverage issues.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including discovery, mediation, and trial.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Provide strategic advice on claim handling and litigation strategy.
• Stay current on Arizona case law and statutory changes affecting insurance coverage. 

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Arizona State Bar in good standing.
• 3years of experience in insurance coverage litigation or defense minimum
• Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with both first-party and third-party coverage issues is preferred.
• Familiarity with Arizona Revised Statutes related to insurance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Hybrid scheduling: 3 days in office per week.

Salary depends on years of experience for Associate Attorney + bonuses
