We are a leading processor and distributor of hot rolled sheet and plate, specializing in cut-to-length (CTL) processing for customers across manufacturing, fabrication, and construction industries. The Opportunity

As our Sales Manager / VP of Sales, you will own the commercial strategy and execution for our CTL hot rolled sheet and plate business. This is a key leadership position for an experienced steel sales professional who understands the market, builds strong relationships, and delivers results.

You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading a high-performing sales effort that aligns with our company’s operational strengths and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a growth-focused sales strategy for CTL hot rolled sheet and plate

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with OEMs, service centers, and end users

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing accounts to maximize profitability and satisfaction

  • Collaborate closely with operations, production, and logistics to meet customer needs efficiently

  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to ensure competitive positioning

  • Report regularly on pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics to executive leadership

  • (If applicable) Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales experience in the steel, metals, or service center industry

  • Proven success selling hot rolled sheet, plate, or cut-to-length products

  • Strong understanding of steel pricing, supply chains, and customer segments

  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and manage key accounts

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
