About the Role
A well-established commercial general contractor with a strong presence in the Southeast is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial construction projects in the Raleigh area. This role is ideal for a superintendent who takes pride in jobsite leadership, quality execution, and delivering projects safely and on schedule.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
Review plans, specs, and schedules to ensure work is executed per contract
Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field issues
Partner with project management to maintain schedule, quality, and budget
Conduct punch walks and ensure timely project closeout
Qualifications
3–7+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent
Experience on commercial projects (office, healthcare, education, industrial, or mixed-use preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety standards
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Strong leadership and communication skills
OSHA 30 preferred
