Senior Estimator - Commercial/Resiential General Contractor

As a Senior Estimator you will be responsible for preparing and oversseing comprehensive estimates for large-scale commercial/residential construction projects. This role requires expertise in reviewing project plans, conducting quanitity takeoffs, soliciting and anlayzing subcontractor bids, and develope detailed cost proposals. You will collaborate with project managers, clients, and architects to ensure accurate budgeting and cost management from concept to completion. Strong analytical skills, proficiency with estimating software, and knowledge of construction methods and materials are essential in this role. The ideal candidate has no less than 5 years of experience in estimating for commercial/residental general contractors and a proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive bids.

Senior Estimator Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost accuracy
  • Perform quarterly takeoffs and material pricing
  • Prepare detailed cost-estimates and budgets
  • Present estimates to clients and stakeholders
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor bids

Senior Estimator Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in commercial/residential construction
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Profiency in estimating software
