Project Manager – Water/Wastewater Infrastructure

Location: Chicagoland Region

Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000+ (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through construction

  • Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets and schedules

  • Lead, mentor, and oversee project teams

  • Serve as the primary client liaison for municipal and utility clients

  • Support marketing, business development, and proposal preparation

  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)

  • 8+ years of municipal engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater, stormwater, or utility infrastructure

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Proven ability to lead project teams and deliver infrastructure projects on time and budget
