We’re seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Grain Merchandiser to join a successful agricultural organization. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with producers, end users, and international customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Buy, sell, and trade grain and related commodities
Build and manage relationships with producers, processors, and grain buyers
Monitor market trends, pricing, and logistics to maximize margins and minimize risk
Collaborate with logistics and accounting teams to ensure smooth contract execution
Support the development of new business opportunities
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in grain merchandising, commodity trading, or related agricultural markets
Strong understanding of grain markets, supply chains, and risk management principles
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Economics, or related field preferred
