About the Company

A well-established commercial and residential real estate developer is seeking an Interior Designer to join its growing design and development team. This role will support new construction projects and work directly with homebuyers to bring cohesive, functional, and visually compelling interiors to life.

This position is ideal for a designer with a construction-minded background who enjoys client interaction, understands how homes are built, and can translate vision into clear drawings and selections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients to guide interior selections for new homes
  • Prepare and review selection sheets with customers
  • Help clients visualize full spaces, rooms, and finishes
  • Create drawings and design concepts using industry software
  • Collaborate with internal construction and development teams
  • Maintain organization of design samples, finishes, and offerings
  • Understand and present the company’s available product lines and finishes
  • Ensure selections align with construction feasibility and project budgets

Design & Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with at least one design software such as:
  • SketchUp
  • Chief Architect
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • Home Designer
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience Level

  • Open to candidates with ~18 months of experience who are motivated, coachable, and eager to grow
  • Ideal candidates will have up to 5 years of interior design experience in a construction or residential setting
