Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense (Los Angeles, CA)

A well-respected national litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in insurance defense to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on complex defense matters while benefiting from the firm’s strong reputation, collaborative culture, and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a personal caseload in insurance defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.
• Communicate with clients regarding case strategy and updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex litigation matters.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 3–5 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Experience handling depositions and court appearances preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
