Traveling Superintendent | Ground-Up Industrial Projects (East of the Mississippi)

An established and highly respected national general contractor is seeking experienced Traveling Superintendents to oversee ground-up commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the eastern U.S. Projects are based east of the Mississippi, and superintendents return home every four weeks.

This role is ideal for field leaders who enjoy solving problems on active jobsites, managing complex projects, and working with high-performing teams.

🔧 Responsibilities:

  • Lead ground-up builds from sitework through turnover
  • Build, update, and own the full project schedule
  • Coordinate with project managers to deliver profitable results
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
  • Read and interpret all construction documents
  • Ensure a safe, organized, and efficient jobsite
  • Serve as the point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants

📌 Requirements:

  • 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial/industrial ground-up builds
  • Experience on projects $15M+ in size
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage complex logistics and fast-paced field environments
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel full-time with 4-week home rotation
