SENIOR ESTIMATOR JOB DESCRIPTION:

Willing to work in a Hybrid Setting if within 60-70 miles of St. Louis Metro

Bridge Estimator PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quantitative take offs. 
• Oversee and review project plans, requirements and specifications
• Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop an estimate
• Determine labor and equipment costs
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
• Understand project logistics and project schedule for Steel industry standards
• Understand all bid documents and assess project risks
• Review quotes and estimates with the project team
• Prepare estimates and different levels of completion ( conceptual, schematic, DD, CD, etc.)
• Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meeting with owners, clients and engineers
• Serve as company interface between owner & architect

Bridge Estimator QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of steel estimating experience.
• Estimating Experience working on projects in excess of $15 million.
• Advanced computer skills with estimating software
• Extensive knowledge of construction costs and steel engineering principles
• Understand aspects of structural steel and concrete bridge design concepts.
